You will need: two nail polish colors, make up sponge, acetone/brush for clean up, tape (optional) 1. Apply your base color of choice until it reaches full opacity. Allow to dry. (Don’t forget to use your base coat!~) 2. Generously brush your second polish (color you want on the tips) ONTO the flat surface of your makeup sponge—it will absorb polish relatively quickly. Starting from the tip of your nail, slowly and gently dab sponge towards the middle of the nail, working tiny sections at a time. Repeat this step until the tip of your nail is opaque. Do not worry if you were sloppy! You may tape around your nail to avoid cleanup. 3. To correct any inconsistencies in the previous step, brush both colored polishes above each other onto the makeup sponge—don’t forget to apply polish generously on the sponge. Now you will dab up and down slightly on your ENTIRE nail so that the gradient will become very fluid. (:4. Remove tape if used and using a tiny brush dipped in pure acetone, clean up the cuticle area and around the nail. Top with top coat!!!! If you use my tutorial for your own creations, please tag me!
